Default Applying for CSS on transcript

I have a query regarding my CSS application. I completed my bachelor's in 2016 from a private university but I did not apply for my degree mostly because I did not need it so far. If I apply for it now it might take a couple of weeks for the application to process and my degree to arrive. Is it possible that I apply for CSS with my provisional or final transcript or is it absolutely necessary to attach an attested copy of the degree?

In case I can, does it have to be a provisional transcript?

Please clarify as soon as possible.
