Default Age concession

Good day,

I came to know from friends that for Swat domiciled individuals there is an age concession of 10 years in any type of competitive examinations. like wise in KPPCS due to the recent unrest situation in the district.

My date of birth is 25 July 1985. at this time my age is 33 +.

Can I apply for CSS coming examination?

Here in CSS, you have only 2 years of age relaxation (up to maximum 32 years) and as you are already 33 so you are not eligible for CSS anymore.

Default Difference of date of birth in the documents.

My DOB in Matric Certificate is 10th June 1995 while it is 20th June, 1995 in my NIC.
Do I need to change the date of birth in either of the two to make it one?
If it is not important, which DOB I should mention in the application form?

Thanks.

Date of birth is considered from your Matriculation Certificate, if it is different from rest of your documents then it might create issue for you. You should get it rectified.

Greetings!

I’ve a query. My result was announced last year and I completed my BA, but for some personal reasons, I couldn’t get the marks sheet. I have proformas for every semester. If I get the hope certificate from university and and send it along with all 4 proformas, can it still cause a problem?

P.s I’ve applied for marks sheet and it’ll take some time.

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing good. I am a serving Military officer with 6 years of service. I am planning to prepare and appear for CSS examination to be conducted in 2019. However, before starting my preparation i need clarifications regarding following :
(i) i will turn 30 in feb 2018, am i eligible to appear for CSS 2019 as a gorvernment employe?
(ii) As I am an engineer by qualification what are the most suitable subjects for me?
(iii) Is there any compulsion for candidates with engineering background to select science & mathematics subjects i.e. Chemistry, physics, calculus, statistics etc?
(iv) Does joining any reputed academy helps in preparation?

Looking forward for a positive responce from the respected members. Thank You

P.S. I am selected through short service commission so i am not eligible to apply through 10% military personnel quota.

No, it will not create any issue. Just get your degree issued in time to submit it when asked for.

You have 32 years age limit because of age relaxation for in-service candidates.

You have CE-19 & CE-20 at your disposal.

Your aptitude is a factor in subject selection. Go through syllabus to know which subjects suit you.

There is no compulsion on engineers to opt for Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

The only compulsion is, you will have to select one subject of 200 marks from either group 1 or group 2 to make total 600 marks optional subjects.

This is because you have to select one subject from others groups, there are 7 groups. So if you select one subject from other 100 marks group, it will make 500 marks but you have to select 600 marks optional subjects.

To make things easy for you, you have to select one subject of 200 marks and 4 subjects of 100 marks. Make your choice by going through syllabus of CSS.

Joining academy is according to your preference. Most students join academy for 2 or 4 months to get a good know-how of subjects to opt. If you are starting from scratch, do join any reputable academy, otherwise academies are nowadays good business platforms for many serving and non-serving CSPs and experienced teachers.

Hope your queries are resolved.

JazakAllah

No. You are not eligible for CSS anymore as CE-16 was your last chance with age relaxation claimed.
