there are many aspirants who passed css with 3 4 month prep, just dont take tension as you have 10 months
cover all the subjects in 5 month and revise 2 times in next 5 month... its very easy
you should read Dawn regularly, CA prep should be started from begning

1. A candidate is allowed to appear in three attempts of CSS by FPSC, so it doesn't have any effect whether you appear in other commision examinations like lecturership or PCS.

2. Well IndoPak history has been a low scoring subject in recent years so if you can opt Islamic history than it would be a better decision so that you can have a good score. You can opt Sociology and Journalism as these are scoring subjects and have comparatively short length of course as well. You can also opt any regional language like Sindhi/Punjabi/Pushto as language is the scoring subject.

no it will not be count in css chance.
pcs lecturer ship is just a job , its not a competitive exam but if you have availed PMS which means you have taken examination of 9 subjects then your chance will be count for PMS ,, even then your chance will not count for css as css is central superior services and its federal job not the provisional.. dont worry at all pcs or pms chances are not counted in css
there are alot of subjects you can opt
i will suggest you to go through the sallybus of all the subjects and see the past papers then decide which one is easy and interesting for you.
there is also a scoring trend, if you are very good in maths then opt it otherwise dont ..
if you have very much interest in pakistan india history then opt indo pak otherwise it can be proved fatal
one more things check the sallybus and even if you are not familiar with these subjects but you should see their sallybus as they are very easy, scoring and can be opted who had never read these before. these are not difficult..
these subjects are
***history of usa
***punjabi
***sociology
**journalism
**forestry
**muslim law
***mercantile law
**intr law
**const law
**public admin
upto my research * shows the scoring trend of these subjects.

Default 10 months and CSS good Position.........

All Senior CSs;

I have calculated that It is literary impossible that a person could get good allocation based on 10 months of CSS Prepartion. I am very much sure that at least 16 months are required before one could do good in exam.

My understanding of the CSS:

1- It is literally impossible to prepare 100 % ..
2- It is literally impossible to attempt 100 % paper ..
3- It is literally impossible to predict success surely even after years of preparation .. ( All these go for toppers as well )

The best way is to prepare your heart out in the time you've got and leave the rest upon Allah the Almighty .. If some senior members here told you that there are people who got top positions with 4 -5 months prep, they are telling you the truth ..

The fact is, if you spend even 16 months for a near perfect preparation, you won't be sure of your success even then .. So, do your best in what you have got now .. Rest, the choice is all yours .. We can only present facts and precedents here ..

Best of luck ..

Regards ..

Dear Seniors;

Realistically it really seems impossible provided the load of coursework one has to complete. Any CSP is here to guide as well along other great senior respected members

Any one with practical experience please give your comments as then I could decide to leave my previous activity or not or start for CSS or not.
This was your first post in this thread ..

After about 30 posts on your query and guidance from many senior members having practical experience, below is your last post ..

Now, here is the answer .. Bhai kam se kam 3 saal ka time chahiye CSS ki tayari karnay k liye .. After that you'll also be able to sit for P.H.D exams .. So aaj se shuru ho jaayen, bhool jaayen duniya .. Aik kamray mein band ho jaayen and you'll be able to sit for 2016 exams with full confidence ..

Best of luck ..

P.S: I'm sorry mods .. I couldn't find another way to make the respected member understand what we all were suggesting ..
