The FPSC gives the terms of relaxation in upper age limit in the form of "General instructions to the candidates for general recruitment" at page no.2 provision 1(b) of given link quoted below: http://fpsc.gov.pk/icms/admin/docume...26-09-2011.pdf RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT Maximum age limit as prescribed under the Recruitment Rules shall be relaxed in pursuance of Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as amended from time to time) as follows:- (1) (a) By three years in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Recognized Tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir and the Gilgit Baltistan (only those candidates who are permanent residents of these areas will be eligible for the concession and in each case, a certificate from the Political Agent or as the case may be, the District Coordination Officer of the area, will be required to be produced). (b) By ten years upto the maximum age of 55 years for in-service Government servants including contract Employees who have completed 2 years continuous Government service on the closing date for receipt of applications (employees of the Nationalized Banks, State Bank of Pakistan, WAPDA, other Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies are not eligible for this concession). No age relaxation for PTCL employees even when it was pure Govt institution.
I think, in current situation of Unemployment (where we have to choose every first opportunity available), Govt should offer age relaxation for all Private (Registered) Semi Govt, Autonomous and Govt Institutions.

did she left her job or she was dismissed from the govt. job?
in any case she can file a case in the court for her previous job. if she is succeeded then she can avail age relaxation opportunity.
