Lightbulb Doctors (B.Sc): Are we alllowed?

Being the students of King edwardmedical university

Can you plz tell me? Are B.Sc students who have passed punjab university examination under the special category of B.Sc english only ( Doctors etc) , allowed to appear in the CSS examination?

We are currently in process of submitting admission forms for B.Sc 2007. Only if the answer is we are not allowed? What do you think We should go for B.A ( private ) with late Fee?

Well i did not get the point of special category by u but i believe that when u will secure ur Bachelors degree or equivalent then u r of course allowed to appear in css exam. Well u need to keep in view the rules for css. Thats is must for u.

Yes you are allowed to opt for exams because they ask only for Graduate person there is no compulsion for master's degree. And according to that special category you r allowed to go for any competitive exam.

If you r still opting for BSc English as optional paper then you cant go for the CSS exam 2007. In order to appear in CSS exam you should have degree in your hands. So you can opt for CSS 2008. Not before that.

But I have heard that with new policy doctors wouldnt be allowed to opt for any competitive exam because Government spent a big amont to make a doctor and when they leave the field that money waste. So with the implication of new policy as it is expected from 2008 they wont be able to go for any competitive exam. Its not confirm its the news I get from one of my known teacher who was teaching in a CSS academy, basically he was a doctor but appointed in foreign office after qualifying CSS. But you can confirm it by making a call to FPSC.

Regards

I went to FPSC regional office here in lahore. Their answer was quiet simple , Bachelors degree is required nothing special.

Yes you are right, but in order to go for Special case of Bachelors Degree you have to complete atleast 4 years of your MBBS. You can not go for Bachelors before your MBBS. So he mean the same that you have to complete your MBBS first.

Its right that FPSC has no concern with your medical they are concerned with Bachelors degree but Punjab University is concerned to the completion of MBBS so you have to make it first.
