Default how and where to start my preparation

Aoa. I am a business graduate from karachi and will appear in the coming css exam 2013. I have just joined this forum because of its effectiveness in helping the beginners for css preparation. But if I put it in a blunt way, I am still confused how and where to start my preparation. Things are so intrigued in mind that even putting them in words taking time. Let me jot them down in bullets:
1) My optional subjects are : European history, IR, Journalism, Sociology and B.Admin. Does this combination sound good?
2) How can I design my strategy? What should serve as basis for it?
3) Is it must that the beginner should go to seek professional expertise from English tutor for css? Or one can do on his own?
4) I haven't found someone for combined studies. Anyone in Karachi, especially in Gulshan and Johar area, can join me for all subjects, specifically speaking, for optional subjects.

Thanks.

DO tell your educational background for opting your optionals.
moreover, you can prepare english without help of any teacher..its only your practice ...you can just give english test to a teacher...
