it takes a lot of time .should i go for it?

Notes are of two types: (1) Linear notes, and (2) pattern notes.
Linear notes take loads of time and energy and are hard to revise in exams--you have little time to read everything you wrote. Pattern notes however take little time making them and are easy to use in exams. Pattern notes are mind-mapping notes. Pattern notes look like this:

Well i think notes making totally depends on the time available . Hand written notes takes a lot of time , you can replace this strategy with making short notes on book or by highlighting important stuff on book . It will save time , and for revision you will be reading book with your short notes ,say in the form of headings or outline plus highlitened portions . :pipe[/COLOR][/B]
