Firstly, it's good to know that you are a continuing student of IBA Sukkur-a prestigious institute. Your love to become a bureaucrat and the top official is enchanting.
Secondly, a perfect plan for study is simple - read standard books esp. that are recommended by Seniors. Make your notes. Give proper time to studies. Start from Compulsory Subjects and read them. It is necessary to read newspaper and The Dawn is the best. Never just raise questions, find or give solutions also.
When you feel that you have completed your Compulsory Ones, make a final decision of the Optionals. Do so with the help of Past Papers, Senior's advice and your own background knowledge and ease.
For your convenience, here are the certain useful threads.
1. For Compulsory Papers: http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...carefully.html
2. For General Info: http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...p-10-faqs.html
3. For The Dawn's Editorials: http://www.cssforum.com.pk/general/n...rial-dawn.html

Belief in your abilities and hard work are the core keys to success.
Further queries are welcomed.

It is good to think for appearing in CSS during your degree program. Secondly, for guidance the css forum is available having almost all sections seperated by subject wise. Thirdly, go through the forum well and ask any question by posting in the forum with respect to the subject.

Best of Luck.

You are in the same condition as I am. I am starting from Everyday science.
I believe that in any subject , apart from the books suggested by seniors , extensive reading and self made notes can fetch more marks than average.
Usually 3-5 marks per question and thats enough to create a difference

Thank you dear for replying me.
Actually my grip over English is not very much strong, I want to work on my English first because I have a lot of time to appear in CSS. Right now my age is 19.
What steps should be taken for improvement of English?

You are right but I wanted to know Can I start preparing for Compulsory subject by having not much grip over English? Is it not good to start from English first ?

Yes, you have at least 2-3 years to be eligible to appear in the exam. So, your first priority should be to have a better grip over English comprehension and grammar. Here are certain useful tips for it.
First, try to buy and read Jahangir's World Times every month. This will help you to the utmost to lead your way towards CSS. It will help you in building your concepts for GK and Compulsory as well as Optional subjects. This is the best way to build your comprehension as well.
Second, to read Daily Dawn esp. the Opinion and Editorial pages would also help you in building vocabulary, comprehension and grammar.
Lastly, buy anyone of these two books and read them from beginning to the end and you will get somewhat mastery over English. The books are: English Grammar and Composition by Wren & Martin and Discovering the World of English by Jahangir Publishers.
In short, the blend of these steps will make you ultimately fetching your dreams.

There are certain methods to tackle with such type of problems. One of the most suitable ones is, buy a diary or a register and write in it at least 15 words which you encounter new and find difficult daily. Write those words' meanings in that register and you may revise whenever you are at ease. You'll surely find it miraculous for yourself. Just imagine at least 15*30 new words' addition in your vocabulary and the problem of newspaper comprehension will be solved within fortnights.
