Default How to Approach questions with term "Critically"?

Salam,

Need help with understanding the keywords.

I have heard somewhere that if you do not pay heed to keywords such as enumerate, elucidate, evaluate, examine, highlight, explain, describe then your answer can me marked down for irrelevance. I have also heard that it is best practice to write the first paragraph or even the first sentence centered around the those special keywords. Just to show the examiner that you have understood the requirements of the Question.

So within the light of this, I want to ask: how to approach questions with terms such as critically examine, criticize, critically evaluate etc?

For example: - Critically examine the effects of the teachings of the Holy Prophet PBUH on Arabia.

How to approach this question? How would the approach to this question be different if it was just "examine" and not "Critically examine"?

If you have any samples of any questions that would help.

Thank You.

Doesn't it mean to analyse in an unbiased manner? To objectively enumerate pros and cons?

But I have heard that one has to be biased in Islamist and Pak Affairs. So in the above mentioned question all you have to do is to enumerate the pros and not the cons ( if any )

Regards

Exactly, how can one possibly be unbiased in such questions and write cons. That would be like signing your own death warrant. (Yes there are practically no cons)

But if I really squeeze my brain, I can come with a few INDIRECT negative impacts Prophet's (PBUH) teachings had in Arabian Society.

1. Rise of Hypocrites
2. Jews resolute on Conspiring
3. Foreign powers become uneasy.
4. Rise of false prophets

I think these are pretty safe negative points as they are not directly criticizing the teachings, but rather sympathizing in a way. What do you think, is it ok to write these points to meet the condition of "Critically"?

They can be safe points but then do mention that it happened due to the misunderstanding of Quranic teachings by Jews, hypocrites etc.
In Islamiat become a true mulla but not an extremist.
