Post New To CSS

Hi,

I'm new to CSS and studied all the rules and checked syllabus too and applied also in early November.

I just want to ask that I've a question, "Why CSS aspirants sometimes gives previously cleared papers onceagain, It's matter of choice in a bid to improve marks in certain paper or compulsory in case of CE exams if someone appears in failure papers last time, (Next Time) then he needs to appear onceagain in cleared papers?"

Second question is "If someone clears all Papers except one failed (Compulsory or Optional paper) then next year will that person only needs to attempt failed paper ??"

I appreciate seniors help and reply to this.
Thanks for your time reading and understanding!

Welcome on the Forum!
CSS is not like other degrees' exams. If someone is not able to clear one or more papers, he again has to appear in all the 12 papers. There is no room for the choice of Repetition or the concept of Marks-Improvement. Secondly, no one ever appears to Improve Marks, everyone here fights for the i) Pass of every paper ii) Score high, and iii) get allocated on the higher marks.

OK then what about "If someone fall Ill or sick during exam missing 1 or 2 papers due to unavoidable condition" Any provision about that or all 12 papers will required to be attempted next year?

Thanks for your response!

There is no excuse accepted by the Commission at any cost. Whatever the conditions are, the aspirant has to appear in the test and pass it. If there is any such problem, the aspirant will have to appear in all the 12 papers again.

First do masters in economics (or in any subject of ur choice) but if you don't want to do masters it's okay but you must have a second class bachelor's degree. Improve ur english as much as u can and start ur preparation towards css. Best of luck

With all the weaknesses you have told, only if you are lucky, go for CSS. Otherwise, CSS is a test of your temperament, consistency, learning and hard work.... If you can promise these things you can achieve anything.... And you have to improve your English writing skill too, if you are not good in it, as you mentioned in your post.

This is the first post in which someone is telling his faults itself
This is a big deal
Do not you think like "i am not good in studies" because you think about CSS so your thought is very appreciable
So the first suggestion I will give you that you do work at english first
Concern to a competent teacher of English and start from grammar ,make habit to read english newspapers (DAWN ,THE NEWS etc etc) on weekly basis and write an essay on weekly basis in any topic which enhance your written skills and also identify your written fault !
Best of Luck
