Default Provisional Certificate for applying for CSS
Salaams Everyone.

My name is Syed Ali Hadi. I am planning to give CSS exams in 2016 hopefully for which I have already spent a lot of time to understand the process of examination and the relevant subjects selection.

Can I apply on the basis of my Provisional Certificate for applying for CSS examinations? As I will be doing my private BA from Sargodha University in the coming session, and the result will be announced after Oct/Nov or most probably in December. Whereas the last date of submission of CSS forms are in Oct.

Kindly help me out here so i can finalized my planning for 2016 CSS exams.

Good to hear that you have already spent a lot of time to understand the process of examination and the relevant subjects selection,well don't worry be motivated as you are,BA result is announced by PU and is always in August it doesn't take more time as they know that candidates are willing to appear in competitive examinations. I hope you will not have to apply on provisional certificate as there is no chance of result awaitings or candidates with supplementry,try to get good marks in your bachelor's and gain minimum second division although third or lower division is not appreciated in these examinations.

Yes you are right dear brother, but the fact is that the result which will come in August/September will be of the session whose final paper were conducted in March/April.

Where as I will be applying in the coming session that means my papers will be somewhere around July/August and result will be in Nov/Dec more or less. That is why I am quite worried.

If your degree is not completed by the time documents are dispatched (around late october), I am afraid you may be rejected. You should have met all the requirements of your Degree (BA). Your provsional certificate should somehow depict that you have cleared the requirements and your division should also be there.
Moreover, there are rumours that screening test may also commence from this year. Hence, one cannot be dead sure about the wake of events that unfold in the future i.e the application process might start early
