Attestation of Documents
AOA Fellows,
I have a question, Can Federal Inspectors bps-16 attest documents? I have heard in office that we have gazetted post so we can attest documents but online wherever I have searched I have seen only bps-17 or above can attest documents. Kindly anyone with competent knowledge regarding my query shed some light. Thanks. |

Although I don't know much law and reason etc. of the validity or applicability in this case, I can safely state that you have heard correctly. One of my neighbors is serving in Pakistan Audit & Accounts department as Senior Clerk BS-16. He usually attests the documents' copies and the neighbors, including me, have benefited from this service. Even I sent the documents to FPSC attested by him for CSS exam and I have received the Roll# Slip today.

Only BS-17 and above can attest documents. BS 16 cannot.
