Hello! So much has been said on the issue of Domicile here. I had the same problem. First you need to consider which domicile suits your interests most. If you think Karachi Domicile is better for you then go for Karachi Domicile, obviously that's going to be based on some legal ground, which in this case is your permanent or prolonged residence there. The Abottabad Domicile is your birthright since your parents are domiciled there. Now, if you want Karachi domicile, you can obtain it by producing an NOC from District Revenue Officer Abottabad that you are no longer resident of that district and that that office has no objection if you apply anywhere else for domicile. Having produced that in Karachi, your domicile will mention that you are domiciled there as settled citizen and not by birth citizen. So there is no need to panic. Again, keep a copy of that NOC for record. You can let go the Abottabad NOC without any complication and changing the address on you NIC is entirely up to you. No need to go to NADRA.

Hey hi...Please guide me I am a resident of abbottabad but also a refugee of kasmir and has the state subject but I dont have domicile...Which domicile should I get abbottabad or Mirpur Azad kasmir? And how long does it take for a domicile...as I only have 10 days..Kindly guide me I m quite confused...Plus I ll be getting the form from kashmir ministry by Monday IA...can i submit the domicile later?

Technically you can't get Abottabad Domicile considering the peculiarity of your nationality. Abottabad Domicile will create more problems for you than giving you benefits. Go for AJK Domicile.

I completed my Education from Schooling to university in Karachi and also my PRC , domicile and CNIC is of karachi . My father owns a house in Sargodyha. So can i get a domicile of Sargodha or not?

Second is that
My wife has domicile of Rawalpindi. so if I change her CNIC (address section) then domicile will change or not?
