Default Books Recommendation for Compulsory and Optional Subject.

Asalam o Alaikum I am a fresh Electronic Engineer graduated recently. I am going to start preparation for CSS, It is very late but due to some circumstances I was unable to start early. I have a tight budget I want seniors recommendation for Books, please suggest from the Syllabus recommended books section. I can at maximum buy 2 books per subject please suggest, for both Compulsory and Optional. My optional subjects are stated below.

My optional Subjects Selection
Group I
Political Science (200) Marks
Group II
Physics (200) Marks
Group III
Governance and Public Policies (100) Marks
Group IV
History of USA (100) Marks

I am from Sindh (U). Karachi How much marks would be needed in order to secure allocation in PSP. Thank You.
