Thumbs up

As far as current affairs is concerned, most of the seniors are recommending to read DAILY DAWN, Business Recorder, on regular basis becuase, it will enhance your knowledge and ability to sharpen your thoughts in order to write proper answers in the current affairs as well as in pak affairs and essay exams.

Additionally, you should read Contemporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid.

Tip: You can get articles especially editorial of DAWN which is very relevent to exams and make it ready in the form of print which will give you benefit while at eleventh hour when you have to go through again for recalling/re-reading.

These are the some fruitfull tips from my side, Although it has been given after concluding thoughts/suggestion and offcourse recommendations of different seniors who time by time have given us.

Default Preparation for current affairs

For Current Affairs try to stick to news for one Hour daily. besides that read newspaper daily for which dawn is recommended and not whole of the newspaper but the main headings, editorials and letter to editors etc. In books contemporary affairs is recommended and a magazine by the name of press review is also recommended which contain almost all the good articles of all the good newspapers

dear these suggestions are valuable, yet u may consider mine suggestions as well.

for current affair u need to write news papers regularly, especially Dawn and news.

also reading magzines like Time, Newsweek and Economists will help u.

besides this monthly Current affair magzine (in white cover) will be really helpful for clearing basic ideas about international and lnational issues.

regards

Hi dear

Could you plz guide me on taking notes.Taking notes of everything is very time consuming. Do you mean that only fact and figures be noted or notes like other subjects.

I think making notes like we do for other subjects, are not easy because so many topics are there for current affairs
