Default Too many books, which to choose for Islamic History?

Folks, after reading the forums, i have came across like 10 books of Islamic History. So now its really hard for me to decide which one to go for. Besides i am confused since alot of people suggest not to go for too many books. So please help me pick the best out of the lot

1. History of Islam By Mazhar-ul-Haq
2. History of Saracens By Syed Ameer Ali
3. History of Arabs By Philip K Hitti
4. Study of Islamic History By K.Ali
5. M.D Zafar Islamic History Book
6. Jahangir Series Islamic History with MCQ's
7. Islam, From Prophet to the Capture of Constintinople by Lewis
8. History of Muslim Spain by Mazhar-ul-Haq
9. Islamic History by Sohail Bhatti

Besides, Reading Sirat books, books on Khulfa-e-Rashideen etc.

As you can see, it is not possible to go for all these books. So please help me out with the best ones.

I have read both Mazhar ul Haq and Sohail bhatti's versions. Both are very bulky and lack appropriate study on Spain. Yet, Sohail Bhatti's book is better due to its headings and proper placement of information which makes it easy to go through the heading in final revision.
But, you will have to study K. Ali's book too in combination with it, K.Ali's book is very small and brief and can serve the purpose alone but for good score, you may need both Sohail Bhatti and K Ali.
