Since you have appeared in the exam once you must have noticed the importance of using more than one book for each paper. In my opinion if one has ample time and wants to score higher then he/she must definitely take into account at least two books for each paper if not more. This brings diversity in thoughts which is very important to score higher in the competitve exams. I will suggest you the following books for the subjects you have mentioned other than which you have considered already.
For EDS the book by Rabnawaz Samo (It is a complete encyclopedia ).
For Geography the book by Jehangir series (Good for revision, covers all important topics).
For Mercantile law consult the book by Kuchin (I found it really helpful regarding the recent trend of the paper).
Last but not the least, consulting the internet is also a must do for scoring high.

Regards,

Suggestions for Pakistan Affair
=======================

What I have learned from the 2011 exam and past papers of Pakistan Affairs is that it is divided into two parts

Pre-Partition
Post-Partition

Now if you look at the past papers, you can find the pattern of questions of both pre and post partition. But in the recent years, more and more questions are asked from Post Partition and current affairs in the Pak Studies paper. Moreover, the answers to most of the questions in the pre-partition history are same in almost all books so chance for getting better marks is not that bright.

So I would advice you the following

1. For Pre-Partition, have a look at the Syllabus and Past Papers and prepare precisely. Books for this phase are Ikram Rabbani, Towards Pakistan by Waheed. Try to read books like Books like Jinnah of Pakistan by Stanley Wolpert and others to get a better view of the Partition

2. For Post Partition, prepare the current affairs strongly and use logical arguments to back your claim. I would suggest to prepare this section more thoroughly and try to attempt more questions from this part.
