Default Suggest me books for Psychology

Zimbardo and Gerrig's 'psychology and life ' is best for preparation. For detail and good study or to find any topic that you feel is not given in above book, use "Gross - Psychology - Science of Mind and Behavior 5th edition". Its a good book but written in difficult English. Feldman is also a good option but after zimbardo only few things are left to be done from Feldman. I have studied more books but i recommend you above books. for any problem you are always welcome for guidance.
Regards

wasfa dun think that itz something like a dry subject.this is really an easy subject.and the psychology papers also happen to be the easiest.u shud study the following books:

psychological processes by Zarin Bukhari (part 1)
psychological processes by Zarin Bukhari (part 2)
General psychology by S.K.Mengal.
understanding psychology by Feldman.

these books are more than enough.they help a lot.even if u dun hv any science and psychology background, u wl come to grips with the subject.
dun feel hesitated about this subject.but of course, every subject has some or more complexities and it is ur effort that makes the difference.so, be bold.have faith in ALMIGHTY ALLAH.but i assure u that this subject is easier than any other 200 marks subject.ok???and if u need any notes, u r welcome, INSHA'ALLAH i wl provide u with these.but for this u wl hv to come to islamabad.u may contact on my email id too.

Thanx.
Allah bless u.

you can read it only to develop some understanding.Otherwise Feldman is recommended by many CSPs.

Prepare Psychology II from Abnormal Psychology by Neil Davisson

I have studied:

Understanding Psychology by Feldman
Psychology by Ciccarelli

There are few books recommended by Csps. You can also consult these books.

I would not recommend any CSS aspirant going for Shehr Bano's book. Thats fine for students of B.A but not advisable for CSS owing to very generalize content; it lacks in quality. Go for the books by any foreign author. Books by Feldman or Zimbargo are good to choose.

Book by feldman does not cover the whole syllabus. You will have to study any other book to cover psychological abnormalities. Have a look at this thread.
