Post Subject combination..rate it please

Aoa I am an electrical engineer by profession and hence I do not have any back ground knowledge of the optional subjects..However, on interest basis I have planned out the following combination.

My optionals are : History of US, journalism, sociology, Philosophy and International Relations..

Kindly suggest me some good books and also whether you think this is a good scoring combination or whether I should change any subject.

Regards,
Ali Zargham

seniors can give you better advice in this regard, as far as i can say, see syllabus and previous papers, that will help in getting a firm decision about optionals, history of usa and journalism are having a good trend,

In my humble opinion, replace IR with a language or even mercantile law (which is very simple if you study for 1 month). You can also choose public administration instead.

The other subject choices seem good but nothing is set in stone. May you find peace with your decisions sooner rather than later monami.

well since your replying slowly and i have to go out with some friends so here's a general outline for some easy high scoring subjects

indo-pak history --scoring enough if studied well + helps in compulsary GK papers

psychology-- easy to study (many of my elder friends with no previous background did very well in it)

sociology, journalism, muslim law --any two you find easy..generally all 3 are quite easy and good scoring..the rest depends on you and your interests
