Please Select CSS subjects for me ,I'm doing BS Software Engineering.

As a fellow aspirant as well as a brother, I would recommend you to not ask others to select subjects for you.

Now look at the list of subjects here: http://www.fpsc.gov.pk/icms/admin/fi...lic_Notice.pdf

Now ask yourself the question, which subjects are related to my background? For you maybe Computer Science is related. Look at its syllabus. You will most probably realize that it contains the entire syllabus of your BS. Anyhow, decide for yourself whether you can do this subject or not.

Now look for subjects that you may find interesting. Some people find history subjects really interesting, some find International relations good, while others take subjects like sociology, psychology etc...

Once you have made a list of subjects that interest you, come back to CSS forum and start searching about what other people have said about that subject. There are some subjects that help you in current affairs, some help you in essay and other similar combinations exist.

REMEMBER, read the syllabus carefully. Don't get attracted by the name or the apparently short syllabus of a subject. I started CSS about 20 days ago. Even yesterday, I read the complete syllabus of Anthropology and went to the library to see some books related to it. Today I will give a glance to those books and see if this subject really interests me.

There are still 8 months to the exam and you have enough time to contemplate over your optionals. Do it, and then come back to the forum and you will be able to ask more to the point questions than you have asked above.
