Gender Studies VS Public Adm

which one should be opted?
by looking at scoring trend, Public Adm seems scoring but paper of the G.S was also easy in ce-16.
i have a great interest in Public Adm, some members claim that the paper of Public Adm is difficult than Gender Studies's. but i believe parha ho toh har chiz easy, nah parha ho toh har chiz muskhil.
Being a senior member, i invite all the seniors and juniors to share their views.

I am also in the same dilemma these days.. had decided to opt public ad before but the paper of 2016 is quite difficult (and it appeared to me that some questions specially pertaining to budgeting portion were not in accordance with the syllabus outline, correct me if i am wrong).. i have 2 books of public ad with me; Dr Sultan's and Liaquat Ali Khan Niazi. The former is insufficient to cover the syllabus and the later insufficient to attempt the paper. So considering to replace it with Gender Studies.

I had both .. and questions regarding budget were quite according to syllabus .. ( I HOPE YOU DIDNT PREPARE IT ACCORDING TO SYLABUS FOR CE 2015)

Public admin is technical ... but at the same time it gives you space to write your views , analysis and observation...
Gender studies is relatively easier (keeping in view the paper) . syllabus , though want you to be direct , coherent and good at facts and figures ..

so itd be better to stick to public admin Coz if not 100% , you still can get assistance from previous papers .. Gender studies being the newer one gives you only one illustration in shape of its 2016 paper.. It cant help you enough cause its quite likely that the examiner was well aware of revised syllabus and dint want to give aspirant tough time.

I am following sub-standard book then (Dr Liaquat's) please mention a good book that covers it syllabus

I was referring to last question: Incremental budgeting, Planning programming bidgeting system and dissensus budgeting. Neither could i find these topics in Sultan Khan's book nor in Dr. Liaquat Niazi's book

WELL I COULD NOT FIND ANY GOOD BOOK.. I studied Dr. Sultan,Dr Liaqat and VU NOTES ( latter being better) but at the end I had to make my own notes.. You too first study the topic from the books available with you and then make a comprehensive web search ..moreover featured articles regarding public admin also work awr kuch naii toh youll have enough material to tackle any sort of question..

keep an avid eye upon news related to PA and governance ..
at the end its your grip upon current affairs and your homeland's knowhow that helps..

Book for Public Ad.

Besides the book by Dr. Sultan I have bought another book, keeping in view the new syllabus, Public Administration by imtiaz shahid and memooma shahid. I find it extremely helpful.

Good... is it worth relying? I mean were you able tackle the paper satisfactorily? Even if it is half as good as Dr. Sultan's book, i would go for it...
