Suggestions for my Optional subjects.
Hi folks, I am new here and in dire need of your valuable suggestions cum analysis on my optional subjects, keeping in mind the fact that ; I have more interest in these subjects than background.
The optional subjects are : - Physics (thoroughly studied till FSc level) - Punjabi (No knowledge) - Philosophy (No knowledge) - Gender Studies (No knowledge) - History of U.S.A. (No knowledge) Time of preparation : 12 Months. |
i have no idea about other subjects but for gender studies if you read several books and make your concept clear you can pass then. I opt gender studies as well and have no previous record of any knowledge about it.

I can guide u better in physics. Being Mphil scholar, Physics new syllabus is much much complicated containing massive topics from master, even a master candidate will have to study thoroughly to fetch flying colours.

I didn't find any SCORING subject of 200 marks, which I could opt. Any general subject of 200 marks you could suggest me which can fetch flying colors. |
your optional looks ok except punjabi .well i cannot comment on punjabi...As far as physics is concerned .Dont worry its not that much difficult.i have completed its whole syllabus in 40 days .
Consulted approx 5 books Also made short notes . And yes as far as thorough study is concerned ,beta jee you have to do it for every subject .its not secondary school certificate examination if you have any questions feel free to ask . |

Just Visited your profile. Comment about criminology vs philosophy. (Syllabus, time required, scoring trends, etc.) |
Well about criminology .it is a new subject so cannot say much more about its scoring tend .however its an easy subject .can be covered in 12 days (12 hours /day) but it is more like a gambling .hmm philosophy .its 100% opinion based .i think it will take more time bcz its syllabus is not that much condense .you will have to touch every corner stone for it .
