Default Optional Subject Selection: Opinion of seniors requested

Hello/As'salam o alaikum.

I hail from a medical background, and the subjects I've opted for are international relations, Islamic history and culture, constitutional law, sociology and English literature (the latter is based purely on my personal interest and knowledge). The course for Islamic history looks slightly more terrifying than the one for history of Pakistan and India ; should I opt for that instead? Any thoughts/guidance would be much appreciated!
