Exclamation Respected Seniors plz help
Aoa,
I am planning to opt following subjects:
  • Political Science(or IR which is better as I have short time to prepare)
  • Gender Studies( is that easy for new one)
  • US History
  • Psychology(or Sociology plz suggest)
  • Town Planning & Urban Management(is this good one for new student)

I need to know about my subject selection whether it is good combination or not. any expert suggestions plz?

Well, if you can tackle muslim political thought and western political thought in political science then this subject is preferred over IR bcoz IR is lengthy.
Gender studies and us history is a good choice, less effort required and scoring subjects
Psychology and sociology both are equal, psychology is some what lengthy but scoring compared to sociology.
Town planning is a technical subject so only go for this subject if you have knowledge already about this subject ,

International Law and Public administration are also two good choices so make your decision wisely after going through course outline of each optional subject

Walikum salam,

Go with I. R and choose Int'l law with it. Their course relates a lot with each other. Plus, these two courses would also help in essay and current affairs. Socio is very easy subject and having a short syllabus as well. It's much scoring as compared to that of psycho. US history and G. S both are fine. Rather opting TP & UM, you should go with public admin. The latter is pretty much good option than the former.
Pol. sci's Muslim and Western political thought is lengthy and in this short span of time, you will find it difficult to cover it. Having said that, choose those subjects that accommodate you in a sophisticated way.

Do write weekly essays and precis and get them checked by a teacher. Try to cover at least 3-4 years past papers for each subject as well.

Users should use an appropriate title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include: "Help me!", "I'm stuck!" etc. Examples of good titles include; "Need Help opting Subjects" etc. Read Forum Rules and abide by them.

Criminology is very easy and hmm may prove scoring ....But if i were you .i would go for criminology....
If you can study intern. law ...Then is more safe and scoring subject....MAke your choice!
