In my opinion, master in international relations or English is good option. Master in English has good job opportunities as compared to pharm.D graduate. After pharm.D, you have numerous fields to work i.e hospital pharmacist, industry (production pharmacist, qc pharmacist, qa inspector, research and development, marketing, business development, ware house and many other fields). If you want to clear css then go for that. Not think about second option. Pharm.D has 72 subjects in 5 years. None of subject present in css optional except chemistry while pharmaceutical chemistry is different from css chemistry. There is no zoology , botany neither any other optional subjects . Opinion about pharm.D job opportunities There are many opportunities. From marketing to industry but all these opportunities has no social recognition, no good salary , no enviable positions, hectic work and even you have 14 hours of duty. Yes alamdullilha I am pharmacist and worked in reknown pharmaceutical company as QA inspector. I passed my pharm.D in December 2016. I have a good experience during my studies. There are a lot subjects even microbiology, Islamiat, 23 courses of pharmaceutics and many other subject, you become all rounder during your studies.
But after passing out, there is a lot of opportunities to work but low salaries as compared to other professionals. In my opinion, pharm.D gives you money if you do your own business. There is no money in jobs especially in pharmaceutical industry, 8 to 8 job timings and overtimes. It's not good option to study pharmacy. BS English gives many opportunities, in governmental services, in private sector in teaching. In Foreign countries like Saudi Arabia , pharmacist get pay of 3500 while BS English get pay around 6000 riyals. BS English has short course duration ie only 4 years and pharm.D has 5 years . Yes many mbbs are toppers. In MBBS there is none of optional subject teach. The reason is that MBBS student know how to study with 7 hours sitting. Know how to consume more knowledge Sent from my QMobile i5.5 using Tapatalk
