Default Mercantile law vs international law

Seniors i have studied both subjects for css my question pertains to choice of most suitable subject
Following things need to be kept in mind
1• In css 2016 no student if m.law secured marks above 60 ( i myself secured 53 )
2. This year css 2017 m.law is giving good marks like 70 and 72
3. For a person opting accounting as an optional would i law be a sane choice as an optional
