Which book is best?
1. Islamic History and Culture by K. Ali
2. ISLAM a short history by Karen Armstrong
3. A short history of Islam - Mazhar ul Haq
4. History of Arabs - P.K Hitti
5. Spanish Islam - Reinhardt Dozy

i wouldn't recommend Mazhar ul Haq's book..since most aspirants use that book, the examiner won't be impressed by the repetitive answers.
