Subject Combination

Hello Everyone,
Kindy help me with css optional subject selection,i have done my bachelor in civil engineering and doing master's in construction management and i am willing to appear in css 2020,i have thought of following subject combination, please review it.

1)Political science (I have gone through the syllabus and i think in this subject mostly we have to do comparative analysis(correct me if i am wrong) in which i think i am good enough so decided to opt this subject)

2)Environmental Sciences(I have studied courses related to environmental engineering and management in bachelor and master respectively)

3)Public administration (I have studied a course namely organizational systems which is related to studying organizational structure and aspects like planning, decision making, change management etc)

4)Geography (I feel it would be easier for me to study environmental sciences and geography since both have some connection and physical geography is somewhat similarities to some subjects of civil engineering)

5) Criminology (I find it interesting and had to select last optional so decided to opt for this)

Before commenting on your optionals, I suggest you to make your study for CSS-2019 instead of 2020 as much time left in the exams and anyone will cover the entire syllabus easily once he commits himself.

Dear, the subject you have mentioned above has little connection which each other (no topics overlapping) . That's is why it is not a good combination.
Opt those subjects which are inherently connected with one another. Like International relations is connected with US history, Current Affairs, Pakistan affairs and International Law. In this way it reduces your work load of study and gives you broad understanding of topics.
Rest the choice is yours as one said Everyone is the architect of his own destiny.

Thanks for the reply, the reason i decided to select those subject and decided to appear in 2020 is that my plan is to thoroughly study each subject,i know about that combination regarding IR,US history but i am doubtfull about its scoring trend,is it scoring?.Majority of people will be taking same combinations and studying from same sources so i feel it will have a bad impact on the score(i dont know about past trends regarding combination so correct me if i am wrong).I wanted to stick to political science so can u please help me make combination focusing on pol science?

Dear, scoring trend is a vogue, I do not beleive on it. Any subject which you prepare well will give you good marks. That is it. I only believe that those subjects should be opted which require less input and give big output.
As far as Political science is concerned, I have no idea about the subject and its syllabus. You should concern the aspirants who opted it in their attempts and then develop your combination.
