Default Subject selection
Aoa. I have no background of political science & IR. Which subject i should opt as considering scoring & outlines. I did bachelor in public ad. Which would be more better for me??

Political Science is lengthier than IR. However, It is comparatively easy for it encompasses theoretical questions rather than analytical. IR is totally based on critical analysis and argumentation that is not a plain sailing for everyone. IR demands intensive approach and understanding of the topics. Political science, though takes more time, can be prepared without agitation. It will also help one in constitutional law. Rest is your choice

I have done my Masters in Public Administration recently, I want to attempt CSS in this term. Would you please help me shortlisting the subjects?
I have previously done my B. Com from University of the Punjab.
Can any one please suggest me subjects?

Salam.. Anyone please tell me the scoring trend of sociology and psychology in 2018. I've to appear in 2019 and it's my first attempt. I've to select between psychology and sociology. Much confused!

Psychology is interesting, however, lengthy subject. Sociology, on the other hand, is relatively easy, however, quite a dry subject. The former will take probably 20 to 30 days to cover the whole syllabus, while the latter can be done within 15 days. The choice is yours.

Isn't sociology interesting subject because it deals with what's going on in the surroundings? And CSS also demands this type of thinking so it'll help me in pak affairs current affairs and the like?

I do not think sociology will help you in Pakistan Affairs, because the latter is mostly based on political and economic situation of our country as well as its relations with other countries. Even issues like water crisis and water management need different way of articulation. For example, if water crisis question is asked in Pakistan affairs, you will be required to tell the state institutions' apathy and federal-provincial conflict, while in sociology, your focus ought to be on individual and community problems. Secondly, why I consider sociology as a dry subject because some topics like, hypothesis, variables, different theories, norms and values, seem to me bit boring.

Go for sociology. its very easy. i got 72 in socio.
