I made this selection on the basis of the idea that I should have a broader perspective of the knowledge and not just go for the subjects which are intersecting or complementary in nature. For instance, I could have chosen Indo Pak His / Islamic culture instead of European history which both relate to the Pakistan Affairs and Islamic studies respectively. Rather my selection is based upon the comprehensiveness of the knowledge I acquire out of these domains.
