Default Group II of optional subjects

Hello all!
Is it necessary to opt subjects of 200 marks from Group II or we can only take one subject of 100 marks only?

You may:

i) select 1 subject of 200 marks
ii) select 2 subjects of 100 marks each
iii) not select any subject from this group

It is not possible to select only 1 subject of 100 marks from this group.

Are you sure about it? Have you confirmed it from any authentic source? Since syllabus says "To select subjec(s) of 200 marks only ".It doesn't say that you must opt for subjects of 200 marks.
