Default Introduction and Subject Selection

Hello Everyone!
Firstly, I would like to wish well and congratulate everyone on helping each other out. Also, I am very glad to be part of this remarkable online community.
Secondly, I would like to introduce myself as well as request information regarding subject selection. I, a Physics graduate who recently came back from Germany, will be appearing for CSS 2021. Hereof, I have decided to choose the following optional subjects.
Physics
International Relations
International Law
Gender Studies
I am well aware of the fact that IR and ILaw have been low scoring subjects for the past few years. However, after going through the past papers and keeping in view that I aspire to join the Foreign Service of Pakistan, I found myself interested in IR.
During the CSS journey, doubts do come and go and this is the first situation that has put me into doubt. Therefore, I will be very grateful for authentic suggestions and opinions.
Cheers
