Arrow Need help regarding subject selection.

Hi, i have done BS computer science. And i'm preparing for css 2021. I have selected Computer science. pls advise if it is a good choice because i have already studied in it. The subjects that i chose are

1- Computer Science
2- Islamic History
3- Sociology
4- Public Administration
5- Muslim Law & Jurisprudence

Please suggest if subject selection is good to go.

It's good, but do make sure you find the relevant books (FPSC recommended) for each subject. Otherwise, covering the syllabus will become a big problem. Make sure you get at least 90% syllabus from those books. Only through reading proper books will you be able to prepare for high scoring.

I am trying to get to fpsc official site for quiet a time but the website is not opening up. Do you have any link of officially recommended books from fpsc?

On top of this page. At right side, there is a link for syllabus. Just click it. And it will be downloaded to your system. Just click where "syllabus" is written at the top.

The syllabus on the right side as mentioned in the previous post; is this the most updated syllabus and hence relevant for the 2021 examinations?

As a matter of curiosity, how often is the syllabus updated?

I am BS comp grad myself, but I am not opting comp science because of its colossal amount of syllabus, the syllabus encompasses entire 4 year BS degree.

Yes. It's updated one. It got updated four years ago. No change till now. There is not any specific rule for updating it. Not any specific time period. Hope it remains same for some more coming years.
