i had had selected chemistry in my last two attempts, in 2007 i obtained 101 marks. we have to select that subject which is more scoring. chemistry can give better scores if u have mastry in subject, otherwise u sduld select taht subject which is easy and scoring.
whatr is ure personal opinion about this selection? Last edited by Princess Royal; Friday, April 25, 2008 at 12:02 AM. |

Yes of course, you have scored an appreciable target, but it is not necessary that you have masters in chemistry. I have seen papers of CSS of chemistry, they were 75% of Bachelor's level I believe.

aoa,
i think chemistry is a v low scoring subject, although the syllabus is mostly that from B.Sc but still its tough as it involves pure chemistry, and that also organic and inorganic. so only if one has a keen interest and understanding of the subject, one should go for it, otherwise, it will probably consume very much of ur time. |

same here i also studied both but i went for zoology .u can get good marks if u prepare it with concentartion. Objective part is vital if u manage to get above 80% marks it will help u a great deal. Go for Bsc books or notes.there are some indian author books consult them also. Also read Fsc biology books.Dont go into extreme details make a pointer and draw good figures. @ Naqeebullah, brother i opted botany and it is indeed good to opt science subjects, i scored upto 145 in it. ... but contrary a friend of mine opted chemistr y (he is MSC gold medalist in chemistry) and once he scored merely 42 marks....... so one should opt out any science subject with considerable thinking and it depends upon ones study schedule and availlability of study material for preparation...

Bundle of thanks Shabbir, Would you please mind pasting the question asked in interview regarding ur scientific subject??? Yes, it is really a hard nut to crack to score highest in Scientific subjects, moreover Chemistry is a technical subject. One can score if work hard!! Regards.

I think if any one have done bsc, he/she should go for zoology especially medical students . Zoology is a high scoring subject
