i have appeared in css 2009 by opting british without considering score of subject
european is more scoring in 2008 but it also depends on paper i dont looked for EH
as far as BritishH is concerned it quite short easy to prepare
and aslo gives good marks
if executed in paper correctly
because u dont have any leave b/w history and compulsry papers so its becomes a bit tough to revise the subject

If you are interested in world wars, Nepolean, Hitler and cold war like issues than go for European History. It is a little bit good scoring than B.H.
However British History is short ,precise and palatable even if you dont have any back ground knowledge.
I appeared in css 2008 with British History as one of my optional subject and it paid well , 130 /200.
Its my humble suggestion final verdict will undoubtedly will be yours.
