Political Science is one of the lengthiest subjects in the Syllabus of subjects. You have to prepare 12 Western Political Thoughts and 6 Muslim Political Thoughts for Paper – I section A and Principles of Political Science for Paper – I part B. Moreover, Paper – II of Political Science is comprised of selected constitutions of the world, total constitution to study are 9.

In Constitutional one has to study 6 constitutions. Therefore, it strongly recommended that if someone opts Political Science then Constitutional Law must be opted to save time and extra study.

In 2009, Political Science received a severe reversal in sense of scoring as compared to other subjects i.e. History etc. Individual, candidates go for Constitutional Law and don’t opt Political Science. But people having Political Science mostly opt Constitutional Law as well.

In your case, as you aspire to opt Constitutional Law then you should evaluate yourself by checking the syllabus of Political Science. If you can study 3 more constitutions for Political Science Paper – II and prepare Paper – I of Political Science easily then you are better authority to decide whether to opt Pol Sc or not.
