Is Public Administration High Scoring?

Dear All,

Please tell me whether PA is scoring or not. Can any one please upload the marks in previous years.

Secondly, kindly suggest best books on PA and also the preparation strategy.. do we need to make notes? If yes then how??

every subject is both high scoring and low scoring...it just depends upon your interest and the way you prepare it...perhaps the most important factor will be how you deal with your nerves and write ya brain + heart out in the paper....

the issue with any CSS paper is not that the candidates don't have the pre-requisite knowledge. it is the fact that they can't pen it down and hence they carry their ideas back to their homes locked in the brain while they were supposed to write em in the paper..

so think about your deltas...and en decide for the subjects... may God help you achieve what you really want to achieve:vic

Sorry one more thing brother...Just like Current Affairs, Public Administration also deal with the different problems of bureaucracy etc etc in Pakistan these days. so most of the times you are helped with these topics by the daily newspapers....it is highly recommended that you go through the newspaper and watch talk shows and discussions etc...

Thanks for your reply. Actually i was asking this because i have to choose between Public Administration and Computer Science. Now i myself have CS background but the thing is, the syllabus of CS is so huge that it literally should be atleast of 200 marks.

So i wanted to ask the scoring potential of this subject (Public Administration) [as the Syllabus is not "that huge"] before opting for it?

Can any one provide some statistics for the marks students got in the previous yrs??

Thanks

one word of advice...don't go for syllabi... check the past papers...they are better clue to what you might expect in a paper...although i don't have any background in Computer Sciences nor did i ever think of opting it out, yet the word of the day was that one could easily choose the topics to work upon and score good marks. another motivational thing about CS was that it could be covered from the internet easily as well...
