option 2. i would suggest you to replace International Relations – 100 (Group F) with Constitutional Law – 100 (Group F).

Can someone who take courses like physics,mathematics,computer science also apply for Foreign service group.??

Your allocation to any group depends on merit number. It has nothing to do with subjects. Score high and you will get your desired group. One is trained in every aspect to perform that service in STP.

is it necessary to opt that type of subjects if someone wants to join foreign services in future?
What thing they keep in mind while posting us on different groups?

Maya..its not necessary to opt group specific subjects to join that. you dont need to be master of International Relations etc to be a part of FSP. Allocations are basically made on the basics of numbers that you secured. you and go with any combination of optional subjects

it is better to choose the subjects of 100 marks than 200 marks.
