To opt for Indo Pak or Public Administration + Journalism
 

I think most will not favor the later but i have a reason to ask this! Indo pak first portion is totally dull to study and the answers to those questions will never quench the appetite of the examiner. But the good thing is that IndoPak and Pakistan Affairs paper overlap and make things easy! What will you have to say " Is it worth discarding Indo Pak and study two different subjects [PA + Journalism] and expect things to work rather than get low scores thinking that Indo Pak and Pakistan Affairs paper overlap and make preparations easier thus going through a jargon of historical events? ""

[COLOR="DarkSlateBlue"][B]You are right Indo-Pak and Pakistan Affairs paper overlap and make preparations easier but keep in mind Indo-Pak is a low scoring subject and it's average scores falls round about 90/200. It may help you in Pakistan Affairs but why to kill 40-60 crucial marks just for your ease in a competitive exam.

journalism was quiet scoring in recent years but public add. is not a scoing suject. why dont you keep journalism and SOCIOOGY.

why not you try islamic history instead of indo pak history ... thts scorng.. and give you edge in preparation of islamiat too ... why not you try ... islamc history ...muslim law, and journalism and some others:)

islamic history is good optional and one of the higest scoring subject.

please dont get urself plunged in the guagmire of indopak.it will ruine everything. any other option would be a far better choice.

i am afraid FPSC will have to quash indo pak from optionals...

I have opted for PHYSICS; JOURNALISM, MERCANTILE LAW; AGRICULTURE & PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION. Yes PA is not not as interesting but i have not other choice left or i will have to choose those constitution and law stuff.. Am done with group B with JOURNALISM and AGRICULTURE so cant opt for SOCIOLOGY.. I am looking for a good subject of 100 marks to exchange it with PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION :) :)

You should opt for any Regional Language (Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi).

Some other good subjects are International Law, USA History

dont go with IR or U.S history P..a is simple subject and scoring to it averages in 60's and good attempt can give u marks upto 80's . yes its right that regional languages are scoring but not I.R or U.S history if compared with P.a
