Default Most Scoring Subjects / Subject combination

I have gone through the DMCs of previous year candidates and created my own formula for the best subjects combination. Here is it, kindly guide.

Scoring Subjects

1. Audit and Accounting
2. Psychology
3. British History
4. Persian
5. Arabic
6. Punjabi
7. Journalism
8. Sociology

Subjects to be avoided or if you want to be allocated in OMG, Railways or Postal

1. Indo - Pakistan
2. International Relations
3. Geography as per current trend
4. Islamic History

For a lay person the best combination that can ensure a position are

1. British History
2. Psychology
3. Persian

Or

1. British History
2. Psychology
3. Sociology
4. Journalism

or

1. Audit and Accounting
2. Psychology
3. Punjabi
4. Journalism ( Best Combination - can easily lead to to DMG)

I have a business background and last year I attempted with little knowledge of CSS. I opted for

1. Indo Pakistan
2. Sociology
3. Journalism
4. Mercentile Law
5. Business Administration

It was a good combination, but I believe that it gets too hectic with mercentile law and Indo Pakistan history.

My current combination is, based on my research and target of reaching DMG.

1. British History
2. Psychology
3. Sociology
4. Journalism

Regards,

Maha Islamic history is extensive

It starts from the life of Prophet, to Ummayads, Abbasids and fatmids and then Ummayads of Spain.
I think it's way over board. Plus, it can be controversial for example the Ummayads and Abbassids are modern day shiites and sunnis. It's a risky thing to attempt

dear daniyal ahmad javed,
Islamic history is still scoring. It can fetch around 150. Even if it will hit you, maximum it will hit you around 120, the worst scenario. Unlike indopak which once fetched only 90 +- to candidates

If you've to opt from histories, why don't you go for british history. It's shortest of them all. It pertains to the island of british. Unlike Islamic history.

@ali chaudhry - your subject combination is good in 2011, the topper had both british history and psychology.

But i think that in Css 2013 the trend will be different . All subjects will become equal in case of scoring trend , after the result of 2013 . This is only my perception . Baqi , result will tell .

I am confused between them :

1) Psychology
2) Geography
3) Islamic History and Culture
4) British History
5) Arabic

Which one is best as per SCORING CONSIDERATION ONLY? The best three?

Arabic 200 150
Psychology 200 150
British History 200 130

430

This combination can yield 400 marks. If opted with prudence.

Geography paper 2 is tough and Islamic History is lenghty.
