Default Economics vs IR

Hello!

I appeared last year with just 3 months of preparations and couldn't clear Precis and US History. I have a masters degree in Economics but I opted for IR as almost everyone suggested that Economics is a very scoring subject. I barely studied for 10 days for IR and scored 90 marks (combined). But, I think even if I had studied hard, I would still would go beyond 110-120. Whereas, I think considering the syllabus and past papers of Economics, with a bit of hard work, I might be able to score more than that.

I want the humble suggestion of the seniors. Why should or shouldn't I go for Economics? really appreciate any feedback.
