Default History subject choice - advice wanted

I've recently completed my BSc. Economics from LUMS and aspiring to give the CSS exam in 2020. I have no background in history, and have not studied it formally as a subject since high school. I am however very interested in the discipline of history and am considering to take up either US History, Indo-Pak History, or Islamic History as an optional subject. Would I be advised against this given my background? And will taking indo-Pak/Islamic history compliment the compulsory subjects?

Indo Pak history complements Pakistan affairs' pre partition era..
Islamic history doesn't overlap any other subject
US history complements two subjects : International relations and curent affairs.

My advise is to read the syllabus and past papers of all these three subjects and decide by yourself. And please don't follow the scoring trend because no one knows which subject will be rewarded and which one will be targeted in 2020......

IndoPak also complements post partition era such as questions on Pakistan’s history of constitutional development and foreign relations.
