Accounting is being considered a low scoring subject. In fact, 2010 paper required exceptional knowledge and paper was not only difficult but quite tricky as well. So due to tough MCQS and 30Marks Question

Not a good analysis. History of USA always churns out good score. Journalism has recently experienced downfall otherwise, it is one of the scoring subjects. Moreover, Muslim law and mercantile law are very scoring subjects.

Oh sorry my mistake, but u r mistaken too. you said worst scoring are histories, but i secured 72/100 in History of USA in 2010. Moreover 76 in Islamic Law.

i fully agree with you, in 2010 the same was the picture but u missed Islamiat specially in Urdu language, it was really a lethal one in 2010.

i scored 620 but got failed in Islamiat urdu by 6 marks n scored only 34....

Muslim history II 50

But i would say that the composition paper was highly scoring in 2010, i secured 64 and i saw a marks sheet having 93 marks.....

as for as my my views are concerned there is no such thing that this this and this subject is high scoring and that that and that subject is low scoring... the more your grip, interest, back ground knowledge, effective interpretation, critical approach, in your answer the more you get the marks... irrespective of any particular subject... baki ye koi chakar nae hai kay kuch khas subjects ziada marks dete hain aur kuch khas subjects kam marks dete hain... its a myth... as mirza ghalib said "dil kay behlanay ko ghalib ye khayal acha hai"... subject selection depends on your interest, back ground knowledge... i give my example... i appeared in css 2011, i opted zoology as an optional subject and i managed to attempt both of the papers enough good coz i knew that i could attempt the zoology paper coz i am a veterinary doctor and i had previous knowledge of zoology... hala kay zoology ki book main nay abhi tak nae liii... and similar is the story hppened in case of indo pak history paper 2... it is another cup of tea that in indo pak history papers my objectives went ;(... heheheheh... but in indo pak history 2, i managed to attempt 4 questions in quite an effective way... aur indo pak 2 ki bhi book main nay abhi tak nae liii... those 4 questions which i attempted were the same which i read in Pakistan affairs subject... 2nd example... i opted muslim law as an optional subject and i attempted 4 questions aur xtra sheet bhi lagaee the... aur main nay sirf marriage, will aur hiba ka parha tha... and when paper came.... oh my God... all 4 question were from the topic of marriage... so in nut shell ap optional subjects apni merzi, pasand, previous knowledge ki base pe rakh saktay hain aur marks ziada ya kam wala koi chakar nae hota... now i'm planning to replace psychology with zoology in css 2012 coz i've heared kay psychology mein ziada number aatay hain.........

then can u plz explain that why a candidate failed in all subjects in 2009, secured 120+ marks in Muslim History? And why a candidate or u take my example, secured 620 marks but got only 86/200. and if u still don't believe that then plz go through the marks sheets of 2010 failed candidates, u will get the highest score in Muslim history 94/200.

dear there is a phenomenon by the FPSC, they keep changing the scoring criteria of different subjects. take Pol. Science, it had been a very low scoring subject from 2005 to 2009 but from 2010 it is changed n now its good scoring subject.

y FPSC does so? u must b thinking this, here is the answer, when they c that all the nation is going for a specific subject then they change its trend to divert people to some other subjects...

agreed. The FPSC keeps changing the scoring criteria that puts an aspirant in imbroglio in the selection of optional subjects.
