oh yeah, u must opt it, since a large part of its syllabus is related to physiology, like nervous system, endocrine system, sensory system, growth and development, hereditary diseases etc.

so u have to cover only a few chapters which will not be an issue for u.

purchase any of these books on psychology,

understanding psychology by fieldman
psychology by spencer A Rathus.

both are equally good.

when u purchase these books, i will suggest u from where to start.

regards

its a good book. most of the candidates prepare from it. no need to study the whole book. there are few chapters which can be excluded like memory, a sensation etc

start the very first chapter about schools of psychology and then current trends in psychology,. after that read nervous system, if possible sensation and perception, motivation, chapter on different kinds of behaviors like conditioned, unconditioned, etc.

when u are done with these chapters i will guide u further.

regards

AOA,
if u are doing mbbs it will prove very help full while preparing psychology because in psychology biology has a very major part every year question come from this part.glands, nervous system are also included in this so it will prove very good choice.
buy 2 books of sheher bano for psychology I and II.
and buy book of feldman .

these 3 books are more than enough for preparation.you will find best definitions, diagrams in these books.also these books have excellent expression.
regards

yeah you can score but i will suggest you to buy 2 books of sheher bano.it will clear you concepts more and most of all headings are very good in sheher bano book so prepare this subject from these 3 books .these are more than enough to score 180+.

regards

oh miss there is no need to prepare the whole book. as there are a few chapters in this book from which questions never come. i have already named a few chapters.

however, as anglstar has said u may also purchase two books of seher bano. though they are good with a lot of headlines, but u will miss illustrations and figures in these books. which i think are more important for understanding any chapter in a better way.

still u must see both these books, hopefully u will get good marks in this subject, as it is scoring always.

everything could be done from the net , but the issue is that you have to clear and crystallize your concepts , material on the net is different than in the books in the sense that some authentic writer helps in clearing your concepts in a variety of ways , on the other hand , net is just a material mostly without flowcharts and diagrams or you mostly find scholorary articles regarding different topics , which are mostly critiques and cover a specific part of a topic. whereas , in a book writer starts from the beggining and takes you to the end .
another, problem with the net is that whenever you go for a topic , you would find different writers , but a boook is written by a single writer , once you read a chapter , you get familiar with the writing style. i think when one reads book again and again , writer starts speaking in a reader . during papers , when one recalls topics pages one studied, underlines the lines etc make the recalling of things easy
so in my opinion book is better than net.

I agree with Shoaib that 1 must consult d book regarding prepration of CSS.
One must prepare the subject for exam's point of view & not for treatment of Psycho patients.

geography is only good when you are good at ratafication, while psychology is far more better than that.

Only physiology portion needs cramming, otherwise it is to understand, as it is very much related to our everyday life, it is practical and easy to understand.
