Dear Pol. science is a bit more lengthier and more technical than indopak history. Both have, as far as the marks trend is concerned, been on the same track so far for a few years. If you have prior background of it like in b.a or masters, etc then opt for it. Keep in mind pol.sci is taken by most of the candidates in combination with constitutional law since the syllabus of both is almost the same, or else go for history if you don't have prior knowledge of it.
International relations has indubitably highly vast syllabus. In lieu of it, int. law is very much recommended. What about it? Pb Ad is good. Cheers !

Regional languages have invariably secured desirable score so far, so has Pushto. Sociology is good with respect to its subjects length, marks trend and so on. By and large Ir is considered to be lengthy as regards its syllabus, and in view of its past record, it also has been a low marking subject. Candidates generally replace it for int. law, the syllabus of which is relatively shorter than it with a good reputation of fetching 70 + amongst the aspirants. before opting for any subject, first go to have a glance at their past papers, and detailed outline of the syllabus to make sure if a particular subject you wanna take is really in line with your aptitude and inclination. Second thing to do is while choosing optionals, do bear in mind the length of subject, scoring trend, and above all whether it appeals to you, etc.

I am a fresh science graduate. B.Sc. 2012-2014

I am planning to take private B.A Exams in 2015 and private M.A Exams in 2016 with elective subjects as Political Science and Philosophy.

In this way, 400 marks subjects will be almost fully prepared and only 200 marks optionals and compulsory subjects will be remaining as to appear in CE-2017.

Moreover, political Science for me is somewhat more interesting to study and I think that choosing Indo-Pak History just on the basis of Scoring trend is useless.

I have extensively checked the syllabus and past papers of Political Science and philosophy and it's good to say that philosophy is my passion. I just need to study it in B.A to get through it. In Shaa ALLAH.

Yes, constitutional law has somewhat similar syllabus as political science and surely it would be sensible to opt for it.

Optionals combination should be '' Political Science, Philosophy, Constitutional Law and Public Administration.''

Kindly suggest according to all this detailed information.

Thanks in anticipation.

Dear don't you think it injudicious to waste almost two and half an year on pursuing b.a, then m.a just for the considerations of css?? You are a science graduate, it is enough for you to start preparing for ce. Opt the subjects going in line with your inclination, then stick to them. Further, start your preparation right now since you have ample of time. You can prepare all the subjects, optionals as well as compulsory within one and a half year to appear in even ce 2016.
So far as your planning of doing ba and ma is concerned, you may do them side by side with ce. Thnkx

Doing B.A and M.a is just for the purpose to get command over Political Science and Philosophy. Moreover, it will surely help me a lot to be a MASTER of English along with these two subjects.
Being a Science Graduate, it is not difficult to prepare all these subjects within one and a half year but having distinction is another story.

What would you say?

I disagree with you. You must pay heed to Farrukh's advice if you are to secure allocation and you think you are a serious aspirant. It shall be sheer wastage of time if you go by your words.
