Importance of handwriting??

In CSS what is the importance of handwriting? What if someone's content in paper is very strong but his/her writing is not good, either he/she will be awarded full marks as per the content or there will be reduction because of poor handwriting.
Thanks

The handwriting of the candidate may carry 'some' weight, however, I don't think that because of someone’s handwriting, they were awarded 'less' marks then they actually deserved. However, that does not imply that the handwriting of the candidate may be close to illegible. You must write in a manner that the examiner understands your idea and the content. The better your handwriting, the greater the impact on the examiner. However, the marks are always awarded on the basis of written content rather than the 'handwriting'. As long as you write in a legible manner, you should be on the safe side.
However, please make sure that you do practice to write enough on a daily basis. It is because the papers of CE demand extensive written content and in the case you’re writing speed in slow, you might not be able to complete the paper in due course of time.

Consider yourself an examiner,now there are two papers in front of you;

Paper A =Good hand writing or at least neat

Paper B=Illegible hand writing and you face difficulty while understanding the insects

Now,what will be your reaction towards these papers individually?

Will the latter paper not irritate you ?Secondly you will be unable to understand many words so naturally you will not award as good marks as the candidate expects.

poor handwriting--->illegible words---->lack of proper communication--->poor comprehension-----> poor scores

So handwriting affects scores 'indirectly' if not directly.
