Only gk is not enough. Well, carvaan publishers' encyclopedia is good one along with Jahangir world times, a monthly.

Css

For CSS, general knowledge is not enough.
Firstly your English writing skills must be very good because your answer medium for papers will be English.
Secondly you are well aware about current affairs for this you should read English newspapers and different English articles.
For general knowledge you can follow the books which is mentioned by Durrya.

Do you know the CSS rules and regulations?[/B]
