Need Help

As salam o alaikum Members

I am a recent registered member to this website. I am planning to attempt CSS examinations in 2017 INSHA ALLAH as I have graduated in Bachelors in Commerce this year. I need guidance from all the respected remembers regarding the preparation. I have tried to enroll myself in few academies, which helps in the preparation, but due to their fee structures I wasn't able to join any of them. Is there any way that I can prepare myself at home or is it necessary to join any academy? And if it is fine to prepare from home, then from where I could get all the knowledge about the pattern of each exam (paper)?

A sincere guidance from all the members can be very helpful to me, therefore i request for some great advice.

Thank You all

You can find basic information about CSS from this link.In case you need complete information about syllabus then visit this link.In case you need old papers, you can find it on this forum easily. No, it is not important to join any academy for preparation. You can easily prepare from your home. What I suggest you is, join any library and try to spend your time there, select courses in which you have interest. Cover them topic by topic. Use books and internet to make your notes. You have ample time to cover all subjects. So just gear up and start your journey.

Your reply has given me another hope. I am trying my best to find any public library here in Karachi so that I may begin with the syllabus. In the future, I might ask for more information and I believe that there will be members like you who would love to help. Thank You once again. May ALLAH bless you.

Dude academy is time wastage and money wastage. They only teach properly for first 15 days or so, provided they can arrange teachers for your optional subjects. I joined an academy, paid dues in full and left after a month and a half for this reason.
As far as your question goes, as you are commerce graduate, do opt for accountancy and auditing, mercantile law and either business ad or public ad in your optionals. This will give you a major edge. Use your own previous notes for these subjects. For others go to urdu bazar to get some good books, consult net and if possible buy some good notes from academies. Go for focused studies on your own. That means at least 5-6 hours daily in initial months and about 10 hours in last 3-4 months and with help from Allah SWT you stand a fair chance of passing CSS in your first attempt. Also, make sure you know your strengths and weaknesses so that you can allot more of your precious time in overcoming your weaknesses. Best of Luck!
