General reading books?

Which books are good to read for improving knowlegde. I want to read some general books too along with other course books. I am preparing for CSS 2018. Seniors please guide me . :excl:

try out the following authors.

Noam Chomsky, Tariq Ali, aysha Sidiqi, and go to youtube and watch some documentaries and also look for PBS documentaries in Google.
