Today I completed a few topics of General Science. I am using Mian Shafiq's book to make notes and then the internet to add more useful points to what I already have.

I also read some articles online for current affairs. Made bookmarks of useful websites.

Real preparation starts from Monday.

I do not have a time management strategy. I just study whenever I get the urge(which should be often if you are motivated enough).

I know I will not be able to cover whatever I plan for the week. But by having a plan, I will know exactly how far behind I am. This helps me in getting into beast mode later.

I have studied this way all my life.

Good Luck every one.Just believe in your self and have faith in Almighty Allah.Just do it.

Offer prayers regularly.4 Months are left exactly so plan accordingly.CSS is all about time management ,controlling your nerves and most importantly smart study.

Always be confident and stay motivated as you are going to compete with the elite of Pakistan.

Thanks.

Today I came across an old book that I had bought in 2009. Routledge Study Guides - Writing Essays by Richard Turley. The book is available on the internet: http://www.tandfebooks.com/doi/previ.../9780203186282

The book is so easy to read that I have casually finished two chapters without even feeling burdened.

I also started reading Trek to Pakistan by Ahmed Saeed and Mansoor Sarwar.

I find it really useful. I don't know if it covers all that we need for the essay(probably not) but it is a very good book to start. You can read it for half an hour and you will know how it helps. Very easy to read.

@starlet
It all depends upon your dedication towards your goal, motivation and "smart work."Nobody can answer this question for you except you yourself. There are several csps who have prepared for css exam within 2 months. If I tell you that yes,you are going to pass,it would not be a sincere and genuine answer because you are the master of your fate,no one else. It's you who can decide what you can do what you can not.Ask this question from yourself and then proceed. However,I can give u a piece of advice. If you are sincere towards your aim,go for it with full thrust.Rest, leave everything to Allah(SWT).Good luck.

So the first week is over and I haven't made much progress.

The most progress I have made so far is in IR where I have covered the first 3 topics of paper 1.

In Applied Math I started with Numerical Mathematics and have covered about half of it.

Still only reading US History casually.

Trying to make a habit of DAWN daily.

Done nothing so far for Pure Math, I.Law, Pak Affairs and Islamiat.

Let's see if I can do better in the next week.
